Yikes! My first blog, and I'm very nervous. New technology is exciting and frightening. I remember a line from a Stephen King short story when a teacher said to a student who complained that the book the class was reading was "stupid." The teacher replied, "Just remember that while you're judging the book, it's judging you." See, the technology is judging me, and I'm always afraid it will determine that I'm a colossal failure.
I'm doing this for my Picasa class that I'm taking through the CSIU. I like the class. I have learned about all kinds of cool photo editing sites, and over the weekend I fooled around with some very cool tools. I scrapbook (Yep, I do), so I love anything to do with photography. It's been a much bigger challenge, though, than I thought it would be. Technology, that's why. I get panicky when I don't understand something I think everyone has already gotten. But, anyway, here's my first blog entry. I'll see how it goes.
